At Ruscus Flowers NYC, we want you to feel confident ordering from us — and love your bouquet when it arrives. While flowers are a perishable, time-sensitive product, we’ve built a clear and fair policy that protects both our customers and the quality of our service.
Below you'll find details on how to cancel an order, when refunds are available, and what to do if there’s an issue with your same-day flower delivery in NYC.
🕒 Order Cancellation Policy
We understand plans can change. If you need to cancel your flower order, please let us know as soon as possible.
- Advance Notice (Full Refund): Cancellations made at least 12 hours before the scheduled delivery time are eligible for a full refund. This allows us to stop production before the bouquet is created.
- Same-Day Orders: For same-day or last-minute deliveries, please contact us within 1 hour of placing your order. These arrangements are prepared immediately and may not be cancelable once production has started.
- After Dispatch: If your order has already been made or sent out for delivery, we unfortunately cannot guarantee a cancellation or refund due to the perishable nature of fresh flowers.

💐 Returns & Refunds
Fresh Flowers & Bouquets (Perishable Items)

No Routine Returns:
Because our floral arrangements are handcrafted and perishable, we do not accept returns after delivery. -
3-Day Freshness Guarantee:
We proudly guarantee our flowers will remain fresh for at least 3 days after delivery, as long as they are properly cared for (fresh water, clean vase, no extreme heat, etc.).
If you believe your bouquet did not meet this standard, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery and include a photo. We will review the situation and, if appropriate, offer a replacement bouquet, credit, or refund. -
Storage Conditions:
Ruscus Flowers NYC reserves the right to deny a refund or replacement if it’s determined that the flowers were not properly cared for — such as being left out of water, exposed to heat or direct sun, or otherwise neglected. -
Style or Color Preferences:
Floral products are natural and seasonal, which means colors and shapes may vary slightly. These variations are not considered defects. If you’re truly unhappy with the arrangement, please contact us — your satisfaction matters to us. -
Delivery Issues (Our Error):
If your flowers were not delivered on the correct day or to the correct address due to an error on our part, we will offer a redelivery or full refund.
If the delivery issue was caused by incorrect or incomplete address information provided by the customer, or the recipient was unavailable to receive the bouquet, we will work with you to find a solution — but a refund may not be possible.
🎁 Gift Items & Non-Perishable Products

Return Eligibility:
Non-perishable gift items (such as candles, vases, plush toys, etc.) are eligible for return or exchange if we are contacted within 7 days of delivery. -
Condition of Returned Items:
Returned items must be unused, in original packaging, and in sellable condition. We may request a photo or ask that the item be brought to our boutique for inspection. -
Refund or Replacement:
Once the return is confirmed, we can offer a refund, store credit, or replacement item — depending on your preference and the circumstances.
Please note that shipping or delivery fees may not be refundable for returns based on personal preference. -
Exceptions:
Certain items — such as perishable food gifts, personalized items, or custom floral accessories — are non-refundable for health and safety reasons.
